ERA head to lead parks group June 20, 2008 Barbara Tulipane, who has been heading the Electronic Retailing Association (ERA), will join the $11 million-revenue National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA) as CEO. She leaves her position as CEO and chief operations officer of ERA on July 4 and will assume her new post two weeks later. Tulipane replaces John Thorner, who joined the American Society of Anesthesiologists as executive vice president. Katie Grove served as acting executive director for NRPA before Tulipane’s selection.
